Weldon Brewery is named after the village of Weldon in Northamptonshire, where it all began. Today we brew at Bencroft Grange Farm in Rushden, in a historic farm building in the same county.
Where it started
The brewery began in 2014 at the Shoulder of Mutton in Weldon. In 2016 we took over the brewing kit of the Copper Kettle brewery in Rushden, and that's where every Weldon beer is brewed, bottled and packed by hand today.
Beers named after home
Our beers carry the area's history:
- Dragline is named after Sundew, the giant walking dragline that worked the local ironstone quarries.
- Stahlstadt means "steel town", a nod to Corby and its steelworks.
- Windmill takes its name from the windmills of the county.
Where to find us
You'll find our beer on cask in local pubs and at beer festivals, and you can order boxes straight from the brewery on this website.
