The Dark Side Of The Farm
Two dark beers, two very different characters
Stout Meets Black Lager
Most people think dark beer is one thing. This box politely disagrees:
- Galvy Stout – brewed with layers of deep, dark malts for coffee and chocolate richness
- Raven – a black lager, fermented slowly and cold for a clean, refined finish
- Same colour in the glass – completely different stories on the palate
- Both brewed patiently, in small batches, without compromise
Winter Fuel, Year Round
Our darkest beers were made for firesides, hearty food and unhurried conversation – but don’t save them for December. Raven’s low bitterness and gentle roast make it a black beer for every season.

Everything You Need to Know
Are dark beers heavy?
Not necessarily. Galvy Stout is rich and warming, but Raven is a black lager – dark in colour yet smooth, clean and surprisingly light-bodied. Serve it just below room temperature to let the chocolate notes open up.
How fresh is the beer?
Every batch is brewed, bottled and packed by hand at our farm brewery in Northamptonshire. We brew in small batches, around 450 bottles a week, so beer never sits around. Each bottle carries its best-before date on the label.
How should I store my beers?
Keep your bottles upright, cool and out of direct sunlight. A cupboard, cellar or garage shelf is perfect. Chill the lighter styles before serving; stouts and black lagers are at their best just below room temperature.
Will the bottles arrive safely?
Yes. Every bottle is packed securely with protective dividers before dispatch, and orders normally arrive within 2–3 working days of leaving the brewery.
Do I need to be over 18 to order?
Yes. By law we can only sell alcohol to people aged 18 or over. Our courier may ask for ID on delivery, so please make sure an adult is available to sign for the box.
